[edit] Special Notes
[edit] Title Match Spoilers
Due to the event having been taped prior to TNA Victory Road 2004, the current champions were instructed not to come out with title belts in order to not give away the results of the November pay per view.
As such, NWA World Champion Jeff Jarrett, NWA Tag Team Champions Team Canada, and TNA X Champion Petey Williams all wrestled without their belts during the tapings. This technically sealed the secrets of the outcomes of the matchups at the pay per view, where Jeff Jarrett defeated Jeff Hardy to retain, Petey Williams defeated AJ Styles to retain, and 3Live Kru defeated Team Canada to win the NWA Tag Team Titles.
[edit] X Title Contendership
Due to the show having aired prior to TNA's Turning Point pay-per-view in 2004, TNA opted to make the Ultimate X match between Chris Sabin, Petey Williams, and Sonjay Dutt into an X-Division #1 Contendership match, as per the announcement of TNA commentators Mike Tenay and Don West. Chris Sabin won the matchup, then went on to face X Division Champion Petey Williams at Turning Point. Due to interference by Scott D'Amore, Williams retained the title.
[edit] NFL Alumni Unite
During the November 10, 2004 show, The Naturals confronted Best Damn Sports Show Period cast member (and former Miami Dolphins football player) Bryan Cox, calling him "washed up" and challenging him to find a partner for a tag team match. On the November 11 show, he was seen in the back looking for a tag team partner, eventually finding one. The partner he found was none other than TNA superstar Monty Brown, a fellow former NFL alum who had played for the New England Patriots and the Buffalo Bills.
[edit] Best Damn Team Gets Involved In Wrestling
Each member of the Best Damn Sports Show Team got involved with the broadcast in some way, shape, or form...
- Chris Rose cut a promo where he declared wrestling to be fake. He was confronted by wrestling legend Roddy Piper, who called him out to In the Pit with Piper for the following night. TNA employee Johnny Fairplay confronted both men during the latter segment, at which point Rose body slammed Fairplay before getting hit in the face with fire extinguisher output from Piper.
- John Salley managed the 3Live Kru in their victory over Team Canada.
- Bryan Cox (as previously mentioned) teamed with Monty Brown against The Naturals.
- Tom Arnold refereed the Hardcore Midget match between Puppet and TEO on the first show. He favored TEO, which made Puppet challenge him to a match the following night. TEO interfered in the second match to help Tom Arnold win.
- Leeann Tweeden conducted backstage interviews with various TNA talent.
