Es war damals eine Art Volkssport, einfach alles über die Mauer zu werfen: Leere Flaschen, Mülltüten, Windeln, Ölreste ...

English: Description: This picture was shot in 1986 by Thierry Noir at the Bethaniendamm in the (former) West Berlin district of Kreuzberg. On the east-side of the wall a cleaning team of the GDR-Pioneers can be seen while cleaning up the west's garbage... Back then it used to be sort of a popular sport to just throw everything over the wall: emtpy bottles, full garbage bags, napppies, oil rests, etc...

Italiano: discrizione: Questa fotografia fù scattata nel 1986 da Thierry Noir dal "Bethaniendamm" nel quertiere di Kreuzberg a Berlino-Ovest. Alla parte est del muro vediamo un gruppo di pionieri della DDR mentre raccoglie la spazzatura dell'ovest buttata oltre muro... A quei tempi era una specie di sport popolare semplicemente gettare i rifiuti oltre il muro: bottiglie vuote, sacchi della spazzatura pieni, pannolini, olio vecchio, e così via...
