Berwick is a town within Kings County on the Cornwallis River in the Annapolis Valley of Nova Scotia, Canada. As of 2001 the population was 2,282. The major industry is farming, with various processing plants located in the town.
The town calls itself the "Apple Capital of Nova Scotia", and a large apple sculpture is found in the centre of town. It is the apple capital of Nova Scotia because it was a farming centre for the fertile Annapolis Valley. Apples were the staple crops of the farmers of the surrounding area, but they have since diversified into many other crops. There are still many apple orchards to be found in the surrounding communities of Berwick.
