Berwick, East Sussex

Berwick (pronounced BURwick) is a village and civil parish the Wealden district of East Sussex in England, immediately to the south of the A27 road between Lewes and Eastbourne, near the River Cuckmere.

According to the 2001 census, Berwick had a population of 270. The village includes a "K6" red telephone box, a pub, and a church with murals inside depicting local people, and painted by members of the Bloomsbury set.

Berwick is served by Berwick (Sussex) railway station, which is actually located on the far (north) side of the A27, at Berwick Station.
