Bernstein-Rein

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Bernstein-Rein is an advertising agency located in Kansas City, Missouri. It is the largest ad agency in the Kansas City metro area, and currently the sixth-largest privately-held agency in the United States and the 36th largest agency in the United States. The agency is probably best known for it's development of the McDonald's Happy Meal in 1979, and it's 32-year relationship with Wal-Mart, which helped grow the retailer from a small Bentonville, Arkansas chain to the largest in the world.[1] Other big clients include Thrifty Rent A Car, Blockbuster, United Online and Bayer.

The company works in print, radio, television, outdoor and interactive advertising and promotions.

In September 2006, Wal-Mart, the agency's largest client, announced they were dropping Bernstein-Rein and going in a new direction come January 2007.
