Berns Salonger

Berns Salonger, is a restaurant and entertainment scene in Berzelii Park in central Stockholm, Sweden. The building was constructed 1862-1863 by H.R Berns. The building was extended in 1886. Berns often holds concerts and other shows.

Berns is an elegant, expensive place with fancy decorations, chandeliers and golden walls, patronized mostly by upper class people and not so much by your average Stockholmian. It is also known as a hang-out for celebrities.

Berns is also the setting for the Strindberg novel The Red Room.

[edit] Trivia
