Bernard Forbes, 8th Earl of Granard

Bernard Arthur William Patrick Hastings Forbes, 8th Earl of Granard KP GCVO PC (September 17, 1874–September 10, 1948) was the son of George Forbes and a grandson of George Forbes, 6th Earl of Granard.
On January 14, 1909, he married Beatrice Mills and they had four children:
- Lady Moira Mary Forbes (b. 19 February 1910), married firstly, Louis de Brantes, comte de Brantes. She married secondly, Theo di Montelera, conde di Montelera.
- Lady Eileen Beatrice Forbes (b. 1 July 1912), married John Crichton-Stuart, 5th Marquess of Bute and had issue.
- Arthur Patrick Hastings Forbes, 9th Earl of Granard (1915–1992)
- Hon. John Forbes (1920–1993), married Joan Smith and had issue.
Forbes was also on the board of Arsenal Football Club, and was club chairman from 1936 to 1939.
