Berbee Information Networks Corporation is a privately-held company. Since Berbee’s formation in 1993, it has grown to over 300 million USD in revenue and more than 700 employees. The company is headquartered in Madison, Wisconsin.
In October of 2006 Berbee accepted an acquisition offer from CDW. The exact details and structure of the acquisition are still unannounced.
Berbee's IT solutions include network infrastructure, systems and storage, productivity applications, communication and collaboration, application development and security. Berbee's data centers deliver hosted applications, co-location, and managed services. Berbee has offices in Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, Minnesota, Ohio, and Wisconsin.
Berbee was recently recognized as the U.S. IP Communications Partner of the Year for 2005. The award, given to Cisco partners for outstanding achievement, was presented to Berbee on Thursday, March 16, 2006 at the Cisco Partner Summit in San Diego, California.
The award recognizes Berbee for its customer satisfaction levels, revenue growth and technical leadership around Cisco’s IP Communications solutions, including business voice systems, contact center technologies and collaboration software solutions. In 2005, Cisco presented Berbee with the “Global IP Communications Partner of the Year” award for 2004.
Berbee was also recently recognized by Microsoft by being awarded a 2006 Worldwide Partner Award – Advanced Infrastructure and by being named 2006 Central Region Partner of the Year.
In addition, IBM recognized Berbee with a Beacon Award for Best IBM iSeries On-Demand Solution at the IBM PartnerWorld Beacon Awards competition. This competition honors IBM Business Partners for their innovation, customer satisfaction and outstanding achievements in providing on demand business solutions.
