[edit] List_of_free_party_sound_systems
Hoi Bennyp, The List_of_free_party_sound_systems is a candidate for deletion here. I thought I would drop you a line about it as perhaps you are interested to join the debate, the page is pretty useful for the free tekno area of wikipedia i think... Mujinga 01:01, 3 July 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Free Parties
I was looking for similar articles to the Free party one to link together and saw the work you'd done on Freetekno and was thinking we should maybe merge the two (or atleast do them in a similar format). Intrested? Rex the first 15:48, 23 January 2006 (UTC)
- I think that's a good idea (re: wikiproject on freetekno) it seems that Free parties are an aspect of the larger free tekno movement, but that could just be semantics. A merger sounds like a good idea, I suggest we use the name freeteknoas it is more specific than the somewhat ambiguous 'free parties'. Someone could think "oh, free party, that means I don't pay" but freetekno always implies some sort of culture or intention, at least in my mind.
- youmight also want to check out the canadian freetek scene's mb at freetekno.toronto.on.ca
- comm-uni-cat-ion;)
Thats good. On second thoughts I think a merger might be silly as we would both want to keep our name (free party or freetekno). If you go on google and type Freetekno it seems to be mainly Canadian with some hits in Eurpoe as well where as type in squat party and all the results are in the UK. With free party the results are in UK and Europe. I am pretty sure that they are talking about the exact same thing. If you don't mind I might try to clean Freetekno up so it doesn't have the
I think you might be bests checking out your laws as I don't know about them in Canada and maybe we should try to make the articles similar. Plan?
I'm not sure which parts of teh aticle need to be cleaned up, actually.
- I think the name of the illegalparty template should be changed, as not all freetekno jams are illegal Bennyp 23:14, 10 May 2006 (UTC)
I would for the template to have a name change but I can't think of anything better. As all types of parties are predominantly illegal (or at least have large illegal elements) I used Template:Illegalparty. If you can think of another feature that unites all the articles then please tell us!Rex the first talk | contribs 18:50, 12 May 2006 (UTC)
You were right, Template:Illegalparty is up for deletion as the name is POV. I still cannot think of another name for it, any suggestions yet? Rex the first talk | contribs 22:35, 30 May 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Image Tagging Image:Zanta2.jpg
|
Thanks for uploading Image:Zanta2.jpg. I notice the 'image' page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you have not created this media yourself then there needs to be an argument why we have the right to use the media on Wikipedia (see copyright tagging below). If you have not created the media yourself then it needs to be specified where it was found, i.e., in most cases link to the website where it was taken from, and the terms of use for content from that page.
If the media also doesn't have a copyright tag then one should be added. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then the {{GFDL-self}} tag can be used to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media qualifies as fair use, consider reading fair use, and then use a tag such as {{fairusein|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair_use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.
If you have uploaded other media, consider checking that you have specified their source and copyright tagged them, too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any unsourced and untagged images will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. feydey 03:39, 22 April 2006 (UTC)
