[edit] Summary
Pope Benedict XVI blessing the statue of St. Josemaria in one of the niches of St. Peter's Basilica last September 2005, which is reserved for founders of Catholic organizations. The setting up of the statue was indicated by former Pope John Paul II.
The statue shows St. Josemaria in liturgical garb, with open arms and with two angels. The book in front of him uses the words of Jesus Christ, one of the locutions or supernatural insights received by St. Josemaria: Si exaltatus fuero a terra omnia traham ad meipsum, When I am lifted up from the earth I will draw all things to myself.
