Benjamin Stoddert Ewell

Benjamin Stoddert Ewell (1810 - 1894) was a U.S. army officer and educator. He served as the president of the College of William and Mary between 1854 and 1861, and again from 1869 until 1888. He was the brother of Richard Stoddert Ewell and grandson of Benjamin Stoddert.
