Benjamin Benditson (born February 16, 1983 in Tarzana, California) is an American soccer defender, who currently plays for the Los Angeles Galaxy in Major League Soccer.
Benditson was selected by the Galaxy in the first round of the 2005 MLS Supplemental Draft, 10th overall. He played the two first years of his college career at the University of Portland, before transferring to Cal State-Northridge. Benditson was named his team's Defensive MVP in his second and last year at Northridge. He played one game for the Galaxy his rookie season, coming in for an injured Chris Albright in a 0-0 home draw against the Columbus Crew.
Benditson missed the second half of the 2005 season with an injury. He was scheduled to undergo surgery in Munich, Germany to repair a sports hernia on April 19, 2006. Ben was waived during the 2006 season, and has since gone on trial with at leat one English side.
