Benito Lorenzi

Benito Lorenzi (born in Borgo a Buggiano, Pistoia, December 20, 1925) nicknamed Veleno, was an Italian football (soccer) player. He played as a striker.
In his career (1947–1959) he played with Inter and Alessandria in Serie A and with Empoli F.C. in Serie B. He won two Italian titles (in 1953 and 1954) with Inter, played 314 games and scored 143 goals in official matches. With the Italian team he played 14 games and scored 4 goals. He participated in the 1950 and 1954 FIFA World Cups.
