Bengal Regiment

The Bengal Regiment is a term ascribed a large number of regiments first raised for the British Indian Army. Composing mainly of recruits from the Indian province of Bengal, such regiments have been carried over into the Indian Army, the Pakistan Army and the Bangladesh Army.
