Benefon is a company well known from the early mobile era as a mobile telephone maker for NMT and, later, GSM standards. Trying to survive, the company changed its focus to GSM+GPS mobile telematics equipment.
It's products are mostly intended for professional use (person security solutions, military, fleet management etc).
Newest products are Twig Discovery-phone and Twig Locator, gps-locating device intended for vehicle tracking. Both were introduced in the 1H of 2006, distribution began in Q3 of 2006.
