Ben Wright Formed The Hot Pips in march 2005, in his home county of Shropshire, England.

There have been numerous members past and present, but regular members comprise of Ben Wright on drum machine/xylophone, Jodie Mon-La on Vocals/Recorder, Nadim D on guitar/synth and Stefy G on clarinet/kazoo.

The Band is most well known in underground circles for the Euro-Dance anthem 'since 1989', although they have been known to mix genres such as Folk-Punk and Happy Hardcore.
