Ben Sheppard Elementary School

Ben Sheppard Elementary School is a primary school in Hialeah, Florida, and forms part of the Miami-Dade County Public Schools system. It was established in 1986 and occupies a 9.6 acre site.

In 2005 it has some 1,400 students from kindergarten to fifth grade. 95% of students are of Hispanic origin, and 47% have limited English proficiency.

He is one of those individuals in Miami-Dade who made extra ordinary contributions to this community, yet seems to have gotten loss in history. I am sure that most of the students at Ben Sheppard Elementary School do not know who he is. I am sure that most of the teacher do not know either.
