Ben Cohen is a freelance journalist and kick boxing instructor based in Los Angeles. He graduated from University of Sussex in 2004 with a 2:1 degree in Politics and International Relations.
Cohen won the 2004 UK University Kick Boxing Championship at middleweight, and has competed in several Martial Art styles around the country, taking first place in a number of tournaments. He has trained many clients in his style of kickboxing, including celebrities such as Cat Deeley and Emmily Stone.
From 2004, Ben Cohen became a regular contibutor to Secondsout.com, the world's leading boxing website. He became contributing editor in 2005. He has published in Black Belt Magazine, Boxing News, and Boxing Monthly.
