As I understand it, Wikipedia Guidlines requires not only References at the end of the article, but in-text cites also which show which source is being referenced. (see Wikipedia:Citing sources). A simple list of sources at the end is not enough for a quality article. It's a lot easier to do it right from the start then to have to add them later. - BillCJ 03:29, 20 November 2006 (UTC)
Whatever. I'm not going to start a revert war over this. Yes, citations are optional for small article, but is this going to be a small article forever? Bell would certainly hope not, a long article meaning a successful product to write about! Why not do it right from the beginning, when you know your sources, instead of you or someone else having to go back later and find which source said what? I'm not trying to be a pain here; just trying to save someone a headache later one. By the way, I placed reference tags on two articles I created recently, Sikorsky S-69 and Sikorsky S-72, primarily because I'm unsure of the sources of the article I copied most of the info from (Sikorsky X-wing). So this is not the only artcle I'm picking on; I'm picking on mine too! :) - BillCJ 01:41, 24 November 2006 (UTC)
