Belmont (38°10′23″S, 144°20′28″E; post code: 3216) is a suburb of Geelong, Victoria, Australia. Belmont is geographically separated from the Geelong central business district by the Barwon River.

The area was settled by Geelong mayor Alexander Thomson in 1836. The area of Belmont Common is flood-prone during heavy rainfall. During 1952, the Barwon River broke its banks, flooding the entire Belmont Common area.
