Believe is the best selling album by singer/actress Cher. The album was released world wide in 1998 with its lead off single being the self titled track, Believe.

Believe is the twenty-fourth studio album by the sixties star who went solo from Sonny and Cher in the seventies, eighties and nineties. This disco album, which is packed full of house and techno hits, won Cher her first Grammy Award in a career which spawned over forty years. The lead single "Believe" was a huge hit, going to number one in twenty-three countries worldwide. Follow-up hit singles include "Strong Enough", "All or Nothing" and "Dov'é L'Amoré." The album also includes a remix of "We All Sleep Alone," a hit from Cher's self-titled 1987 album.

Believe was dedicated to Sonny Bono, Cher's former husband who died earlier that year from a skiing accident. The album has gone four-times Platinum in America, and has sold more than twenty million copies worldwide. The boost in Cher's popularity led to a very successful Do You Believe? Tour.
