Belecthor I

Belecthor I is in J. R. R. Tolkien's fictional universe of Middle-earth the fifteenth Ruling Steward of Gondor.
Belecthor succeeded his father Húrin II at his death in 2628 Third Age. The Corsairs of Umbar were the major threat to Gondor at the time, although no major events are recorded.
Belecthor had two children: Morwen, a daughter, and Orodreth.
He was followed by his son Orodreth at his death in 2655.
