Belconnen Remand Centre or BRC is an Australian remand custody facility located in Belconnen, Australian Capital Territory, Australia first opened in 1976. The centre at times holds a small number of illegal immigrants. Sentenced prisoners in the ACT serve their sentences in prisons in neighbouring New South Wales pending the construction of a prison to serve the ACT due in 2007. The Symonston Temporary Remand Centre caters for overflows from BRC.
