Being With You was a UK number one single for two weeks in June 1981 for Smokey Robinson.

The single was Smokey Robinson's second UK #1 single and his first as a solo artist. It was also the last time he made the UK charts. It also reached #2 in the USA, behind Bette Davis Eyes by Kim Carnes.
