Behind the Mask: The Story Of The People Who Risk Everything To Save Animals is a 2006 documentary about the Animal Liberation Front. It took three years of filming, interviewing, and editing to complete. The movie was created by animal-rights lawyer Shannon Keith, [1] who owns Uncaged Films and ARME (Animal Rescue, Media & Education),. This documentary was produced in response to a perceived bias in the mainstream media against the animal rights movement.
The UK premier of this documentary was screened on September 7th, 2006 at the Exeter Pheonix, with special guest Keith Mann, who gave a talk and was also available after the film for questions.
