Becki S. Newton (born July 4, 1978) is an American actress, who is currently a regular cast member of Ugly Betty.

Newton was born in New Haven, Connecticut and was raised in Guilford, Connecticut. There she began performing musicals and plays at local theaters. She studied at the University of Pennsylvania where she graduated with a degree in European History. She then moved to New York City where she began acting in television commercials. Later, she was asked to write and host a celebrity interview show on TBS called "Movie Junky".
She currently plays the role of Amanda in the comedy-drama series, Ugly Betty.
Newton has been married to Chris Diamantopoulos since May 12, 2005.
