Becharof Lake

Becharof Lake is a 37-mile-long (60 km) lake on the Alaska Peninsula of the U.S. state of Alaska. It is located 23 miles (37 km) southeast of Egegik, at . The lake was named in 1868 by naturalist W. H. Dall for Russian navigator Dmitry Bocharov, who explored Alaska in 1788.
