I can assure you that I did write this article "from scratch" - if you have another link containing this text I would be amazed. I did refer to a link with a very brief description of a book called "Better known as Beaver Lake" but I plagiarized nothing. - Davis_Swan@yahoo.ca Davswa 00:35, 16 November 2005 (UTC)
- As written, your article read like something that might be posted on the local historical society's Geocities page. It's not badly written; it's just not in accordance with the encyclopedic format required for Wikipedia articles. I apologize if I misinterpreted it at first; it seemed to closely resemble a web history of Beaver Lake that I had read on precisely that kind of Geocities "History of Beaver Lake" webpage within the past year (right down to the whole "there are no formal political boundaries, but those who live there consider it a community anyway" angle. I grew up in Walden myself, so I notice these things when I come across them. And there are no formal political boundaries defining Whitefish or Naughton or Lively, either, so that doesn't make Beaver Lake unique in any way.) I have reinstated some of the information you added, but I've written it in accordance with Wikipedia's encyclopedic style requirements. Bearcat 02:00, 19 November 2005 (UTC)
