ANDERSON) IN FLIGHT CLOSE TO A ROCKY OUTCROP IN A VALLEY IN THE OWEN STANLEY RANGE DURING AN OPERATION IN LATE 1942. THE PHOTOGRAPH WAS TAKEN BY SERGEANT W. B. BALL IN AN ACCOMPANYING BEAUFIGHTER.
