Beaver Bay Township is a township in Lake County, Minnesota, United States. The population was 582 at the 2000 census.

According to the United States Census Bureau, the township has a total area of 363.1 km² (140.2 mi²). 358.9 km² (138.6 mi²) of it is land and 4.2 km² (1.6 mi²) of it (1.16%) is water.

As of the census2 of 2000, there were 582 people, 242 households, and 163 families residing in the township. The population density was 1.6/km² (4.2/mi²). There were 403 housing units at an average density of 1.1/km² (2.9/mi²). The racial makeup of the township was 97.77% White, 0.17% African American, 0.34% Native American, 0.17% Asian, and 1.55% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 0.17% of the population.

There were 242 households out of which 20.2% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 64.5% were married couples living together, 1.7% had a female householder with no husband present, and 32.6% were non-families. 26.9% of all households were made up of individuals and 10.7% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.33 and the average family size was 2.79.

In the township the population was spread out with 21.5% under the age of 18, 5.3% from 18 to 24, 22.3% from 25 to 44, 31.1% from 45 to 64, and 19.8% who were 65 years of age or older. The median age was 45 years. For every 100 females there were 104.9 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 102.2 males.

The median income for a household in the township was $43,438, and the median income for a family was $49,063. Males had a median income of $42,222 versus $25,625 for females. The per capita income for the township was $19,188. About 4.1% of families and 6.2% of the population were below the poverty line, including 5.3% of those under age 18 and 3.1% of those age 65 or over.
