Beauty and the Geek is a reality television show, first aired by the WB network on June 2, 2005. It has been advertised as "The Ultimate Sex Experiment" and is produced by Ashton Kutcher and Nick Santora. The Third season will air on Jan. 3, 2007 at 8pm. The theme song, performed by the Pet Shop Boys, is used also on the British version.
On February 7, 2006 a British version of the show debuted on BBC's E4. Although there is no host, voiceovers are provided by David Mitchell. A Norwegian version will start on Norwegian TV3 in March, 2006. It has been given the name Prinsessen og Professoren ("The Princess and the Professor"). In Denmark the original American show is aired with Danish subtitles. An Italian version started on Italia 1 in September 2006, called La pupa e il secchione ("The Doll and the Nerd"), hitting ratings records for the channel. An Estonian version also started on Estonian TV3 in September 2006 called Kaunitar ja geenius (The Beauty and the Genius).
The American version moved to The CW Television Network, the new network formed when both The WB and UPN ceased operations in September 2006. A Special Two-Hour Season Premiere of Beauty and the Geek begins Wednesday, January 3 8PM eastern on The CW.
Reruns of the first two seasons are being shown on MTV in the US, from 5pm to 7pm daily.

The CW released this image of the Season Three cast (via CWTV.com), however, names and challenges have yet to be officially released.
The guy in the pool on the far right with glasses and his arms around his chest/vest is Andrew Sawa. The guy with the beard and arms crossed is Nathan Dern, a Harvard student, musician, and comedian from Evergreen, Colorado. The guy with the abs and the nose plug (third from the right) is Niels Hoven. Niels, a PhD candidate at Berkeley, is now a Professional Dating Coach. [1]
