Beaumont School is a private, all-girls, Catholic school located in Cleveland Heights, Ohio.
Beaumont School is well known for the high standards of its academic program, designed for students who seek challenges on a secondary level that will prepare them for college and beyond. We are accredited by the Ohio Department of Education, the North Central Association of Secondary Schools and Colleges, and the Ohio Catholic School Accrediting Association; in all areas our requirements meet or exceed those of the Ohio Board of Regents.
[edit] History
While Beaumont has existed since 1942 at its present location, it traces its origin to the 1850s, making it the oldest school in the Cleveland Diocese and the oldest secondary school in Cleveland.
Beaumont women can look to with pride and joy – the celebration of a century and a half of the amazing resilience of the “Beaumont Spirit.” For more than 150 years, Beaumont has maintained an unbroken link with that first Euclid Avenue school called the Ursuline Academy by continuing to operate under the original charter granted to the Ursuline Sisters for the education of young women.
