Beast (TV series)
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Beast was a BBC television sitcom based in a Veterinary Surgery.
It was written by Simon Nye and produced by Martin Denniss. Two series of six were made. The first was aired in early 2000 and the second in early 2001.
The main premise for the show was that the main character and practice owner, Nick (played by Alexander Armstrong), didn't like being a vet and had a strong dislike of animals.
Doon Mackichan played the scatty receptionist Kirsten. The practice had two other vets, Briony (Sylvestra Le Touzel) and Andre (Steven Alvey), and an assistant, Jade (Emma Pierson).
