Beadaru (ビーダル?) are one of the 493 fictional species of Pokémon creatures from the multi-billion-dollar[1] Pokémon media franchise – a collection of video games, anime, manga, books, trading cards and other media, created by Satoshi Tajiri. The purpose of Beadaru in the games, anime and manga, as with all other Pokémon, is to battle both wild Pokémon, untamed creatures encountered while the player passes through various environments, and tamed Pokémon owned by Pokémon trainers.[2]

[edit] Biological Characteristics
Beadaru resembles a beaver, hence its classification as the Beaver Pokémon.
Male Beadaru "masks" are bone-shaped, while female Beadaru "masks" lack the lower half, as seen in the picture.
[edit] In the video games
Beadaru is the evolution of Bippa and resembles a beaver or otter. It plays the same role as Raticate, Furret and Linoone.
Beadaru is not only the first Pokémon with the type combination of Normal and Water, but it is also the second dual-type Normal Pokémon whose other half is not Flying (the first was Girafarig, who is Normal/Psychic). However, the only Water-type attacking move Beadaru can learn naturally is Water Gun, a decent starting move but weak overall. TMs and/or breeding can be used to bring stronger Water-type moves into its move set, such as Aqua Tail or Water Pulse.
Beadaru can learn powerful pre-existing moves such as Hyper Fang (which is shared by Rattata and Raticate) and Superpower. It is not very strong, however, with its best stat, Attack, having a base value of 85.
Beadaru can commonly be found in Routes 208, 209, 210-North and 212-South, Aspiration Lake, Departure Springs, Wisdom Lake, and the Sinnoh Safari Zone.
Beadaru evolves from Bippa at Level 15.
