Be Kind Rewind is a 2007 comedy film directed by Michel Gondry and starring Jack Black.
[edit] Plot Outline
Jack Black plays Jerry who, while trying to sabotage a power plant, gets accidentally magnetized. As a result he unintentionally erases every tape in his friend's video store. In order to satisfy the store's most loyal renter, an aging woman with signs of dementia, the two men set out to remake the lost films, which include Back to the Future, Ghostbusters, The Lion King, and Robocop. The films soon become a phenomenon involving the whole town. It is currently being filmed in the city of Passaic, New Jersey.
