From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
My full name is Brian Salter-Duke, although I was earlier called just Brian Duke, and it is with that name that I publish in scientific journals. I was born in Sheffield, England. I am a retired academic now living in Melbourne, Australia. I am still active in research in the fields of computational chemistry, theoretical chemistry and quantum chemistry. I am an author of the Valence Bond program, VB2000.
I contribute to Wikipedia in these areas of computational, theoretical and quantum chemistry. Other areas are other chemistry topics, including chemistry journals and chemist biographies, Australian topics and Scouting topics. See below for a list of articles I have created. Scattered about are many userboxes, which show where I am coming from and what I am doing on Wikipedia. They do not express my political or religious views.
On December 1st, 2006, I reached a total of 5000 edits, including over 100 new articles and nearly 1400 edits in the main article space.

[edit] Pages I have started
These are the pages I have started, in time order in each section. In one case (Pi electron semiempirical methods), the new page was essentially a section from another page. In another case (University Sporting Blue), I did a move and then generalised the page. In all other cases, the page was started from scratch, even if they are in some cases only stubs.
