[edit] Magic BeansHow did Jack get to the top? MAGIC BEANS!!! [edit] Thanks for getting in touchI am not that active on en:wikipedia these days, but I did help the foundation get a few trademarks if you haven't noticed. When I get some free time I want to add more stuff on pages about civilian legal concepts and do some work as you have done for the common law approach to law. I went to law school in Quebec and have a civil and common law degree so I have some appreciation for civil law conceptualizations of law (and I practice in what some historians call a mixed system jurisdiction). Good luck with that domain name dispute. Alex756 03:19, 15 June 2006 (UTC)
[edit] NameWhy the name change? Night Gyr 01:37, 16 June 2006 (UTC) [edit] I don't know...But it looks like you did it... 68.39.174.238 16:43, 16 June 2006 (UTC)
[edit] yes, feel free to archive my talk pagenote the link to my first archive at the top of my page. --Lukobe 00:29, 17 June 2006 (UTC) [edit] ArchivingThank you for offering the archiving of my talk page. I simply copied its contents and pasted it to a new page named User talk:Adam78/Archive1. Or maybe I could have moved it to the new name, just like moving an article??? It would have been better, if it's possible, so as to keep its history. Do you think it's possible (moving a talk page to an archive page)? Adam78 00:55, 17 June 2006 (UTC)
Thanks for reminding. For now I split the page in general/statistics/EasyTimeline. For EasyTimeline I might extract outdated comments into archive and keep still relevant comments (to do later). Cheers, Erik Zachte 01:50, 17 June 2006 (UTC) [edit] my talk pageum, i don't how to archive it, but go ahead if you want to. --Tothebarricades 03:00, 17 June 2006 (UTC) [edit] ArchivingYou suggested archiving my talk page. I'm not sure how one does that; I've never tried. I certainly could archive everything from previous years, but since I don't know how to do it, I'll have to take you up on your offer to help. -- BRG 16:18, 17 June 2006 (UTC)
Also not sure how to archive - if you would take it upon yourself to do so, I would be much obliged. Awesome user page, btw. Paul 17:11, 17 June 2006 (UTC) [edit] talk pageis there some policy that says i should archive my talk page? i haven't done it yet because there are requests on it that i haven't done yet. kate.
[edit] Long page?Hi BD. I was really wondering, why that inordinately long userpage? :-) Cheers, Vildricianus 21:24, 20 June 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Archiving my talk pageIf you could help me out with the archiving, I'd appreciate that. What system/tools do you use for archiving? -- Antaeus Feldspar 22:42, 20 June 2006 (UTC)
[edit] SignatureYou can go to Special:Preferences and change your signature to your new one. FellowWikipedian 00:36, 23 June 2006 (UTC) [edit] ReplyAbout your entry on Wikipedia:List of non-admins with high edit counts, I believe these are occasionally automatically updated by a bot (or something like that), so if you remove your name, it may automatically get put back on the list (without being struck through), and people will again bother you to run for adminship. In other words, the best way to avoid being bothered is to leave your name on the list and struck through. (Or request to have your username changed to User:MOE ON WHEELS!!!, in which case no one will ever bother you about seeking adminship again). Cheers! BD2412 T 21:03, 23 June 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Long talk pageThanks for pointing out that my talk page was too long. I've fixed it. LDan 18:15, 25 June 2006 (UTC) [edit] BarnstarI hereby award you a barnstar for your all-around excellence on Wikipedia. --Gray Porpoise 17:02, 30 June 2006 (UTC) [edit] ApologyYou may not have noticed it, but when we last talked, I was having a really bad day. I came back to apologize for what I may have said during my very upset state. Regards — The King of Kings 11:38 July 01 '06 [edit] ArchivingHiya. Bit of a delayed response to your comment about archiving my talk page. I agree it needs to be done, but am not sure how to do it, so feel free to archive away to your heart's content :-) --Gene_poole 12:04, 9 July 2006 (UTC)
[edit] "Meow"......is a shorthand way of saying "catty remark", which is more creative than "npov". As with all HTML scrapers, it runs pretty slowly for large counts like yours, so here's yours from my quick test run. --Interiot 13:12, 1 August 2006 (UTC) Main: 31777 Talk: 2391 Image: 885 Image talk: 39 Wikipedia: 10030 Wikipedia talk: 997 User: 6093 User talk: 4913 Template: 901 Template talk: 95 Portal: 838 Portal talk: 164 Category: 4869 Category talk: 33 Thanks for the tip - Essjay's gives me pretty much the same numbers, plus the few edits I've made in the interim. And please if you take out somemore please ,at least organize them so that they lay properly. Also go check on my cats they might need some organizing. But let me know of what you are doing nexttime please. Thanks, --Missingno. 20:28, 5 August 2006 (UTC) [edit] Would you consider running for trustee?Bo, there is an election coming up for the m:Board of Trustees. Candidates for the board are being accepted until midnight UTC on August 28. I am writing to you because I very strongly urge you to consider offering yourself as a candidate. I think you very clearly have what is needed of a person for the board and would make a fantastic trustee. Please see m:Election candidates 2006/En and m:Elections for the Board of Trustees of the Wikimedia Foundation, 2006/En. Please consider this suggestion most seriously; I firmly believe your talents are most definitely suited for and needed on the board. --Durin 16:05, 9 August 2006 (UTC)

[edit] AwardThanks. Fixed the name, anyway - cheers! bd2412 T 18:19, 23 August 2006 (UTC) [edit] Time to archive? When I am darn good and ready. :P I am only harming the dozen or so 56kB people still connecting to the 'Net via BBS gateways from somewhere in the middle of nowhere. <shrug> Anyway, a random thing for you: http://www.studentoffortune.com/ You might enjoy that web service. I signed up today as a 'Pontificator' <laughing>, which is what they call people who answer questions and earn fees as a result. If their activity goes up, it might prove to be a nice sideline of income, non? It seems like something you would do well with in answering queries. Well, you and Dieter Bachmann and a few others I can think of from here at Wikicrazyland. :) Ciao for now. → P.MacUidhir (t) (c) 13:28, 17 September 2006 (UTC) [edit] Unspecified source for Image:EUTooManyStars.jpgThanks for uploading Image:EUTooManyStars.jpg. I notice the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you have not created this file yourself, then there needs to be a justification explaining why we have the right to use it on Wikipedia (see copyright tagging below). If you did not create the file yourself, then you need to specify where it was found, i.e., in most cases link to the website where it was taken from, and the terms of use for content from that page. If the file also doesn't have a copyright tag, then one should be added. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then the {{GFDL-self}} tag can be used to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Fair use, use a tag such as {{fairusein|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair_use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use. If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Nv8200p talk 21:29, 23 September 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Ghetteaux's talk history?Would you mind me (or you) undeleting Ghetteaux (talk • contribs • count)'s talk page history? I assumed you db-owner'ed it per right to vanish, but since he/she has returned to editing and is now running afoul of other editors I think the entire history should be restored.
