As the most important game in a popular sport (college football) I think we should have an article for each game, similar to the individual articles for the Super Bowls. Jayanta Sen 06:58, 15 November 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Season vs Year

should this be titled by the calendar or the season, the game will take place one week into 2007, but will decide the 2006 season perhaps it should be 2006-07 Smith03 22:12, 10 December 2006 (UTC)

I don't like 2006-07. Either 2006 or 2007. I think 2007 is should be preferred since it is then in agreement with how the rest of the bowl games. The first line should make it clear that it's for the 2006 season. So when there's the 2008 game for the 2007 season, if someone comes to the 2007 game by accident they will see it immediately and with a succession box or info in the header saying to goto the current game.
