[edit] Recent Recognition
Recently, in both Florida state and local news arenas, BCI's founder Dr. Leslie Bromwell has received recognition as a major consultant and team leader for the restoration and preservation of the Herbert Hoover Dike, which surrounds Florida's Lake Okeechobee. This geographical area has been of recent concern, due to the start of Florida's 2006 Hurricane Season.
