Bayero University is situated in Kano, Nigeria. It was founded in 1977. It has Faculties of Agriculture, Arts and Islamic Studies, Education, Law, Medicine, Science, Social and Management Sciences and Technology. Before 1977 it was the Faculty of Arabic and Islamic Studies of Ahmadu Bello University.
