Bay Township is one of the 12 townships that make up Ottawa County, Ohio. It is located in the middle of the county and forms part of the border with Sandusky County. It is bordered by the following townships and municipalities:

Bay Township is also bordered to the southeast by Sandusky Bay and the Portage River forms the northern border with Erie Township.
