Baxters is an international food company, based in Fochabers, Scotland. It has its roots in a grocer's shop opened by George Baxter in 1868. Baxter's shop became known for supplying pickles and preserves in the early 20th century, when George's son and daughter-in-law bagan preparing their own beetroot, and selling it to other grocers.

Today Baxters is best known for tinned soups, often to unique recipes, such as Royal Game. In recent years they have bought up other food companies, including Garner’s Foods Ltd and CL Foods plc. Despite the size of the company, they still maintain an image as a "family business", with a series of advertisements showing the Baxter family as heavily involved in the preparation of their products.

Baxters also own and operate several shop/restaurant facilities across Scotland. These include branches at Ocean Terminal in Edinburgh, Tullibardine in Perthshire, Aberdeen Airport and the Highland Village at their headquarters in Fochabers. Recently Richard Cox was apponted Director
