Bawdeswell is a village and civil parish in the Breckland district of Norfolk, England. According to the 2001 census it had a population of 766. The village is about 14 miles (23 km) north-west of Norwich.

Bawdeswell is host to several small businesses. Most notably "The Old Workhouse" - the village pub, "The Bawdeswell Store" - considered one of the best village stores in mid norfolk and the "Bawdeswell Garden Centre" - a fairly large scale garden centre.
