[edit] Cottage
As I said in my email do exactly what you like to cottage, it could do with expanding, since I wrote the emial I have thought that the new extension would be useful too, as that is what is happening to "cottages" all over England, so the photo would serve to illustrate that perfectly; also the fact that what was once a small village cottage is now a substantial family house in Essex could also illustrate the social changes of the 'cottage'. The article could take two parts the first the traditional "humble home of labourers" ie the picture of the terrace of cottages, and secondly the cottage being taken over by the more affluent 21st century family. Remember with Wikipedia - be bold in your edits, but with some tact too. Good luck. If you are not keen to write something, or not sure how to do it, let me know and we can do it together.
