  • Category:Gabrovo Province — the battle of Shipka is not directly related to Gabrovo Province, except that it happened to be in its territory. This battle is of national importance to all of Bulgaria.
  • Category:Monuments and memorials in Bulgaria — the battle itself is not a monument. There is a separate article for the latter.
