Battlefield Park

Battlefield Park is a landmark public park in the center of Belize City. Its historical place in Belize is legendary, having been the preferred meeting place of Belize's inhabitants since 1638. Antonio Soberanis' LUA got its start there, as did the PUP and other political parties. Today the park is used mainly for special meetings and concerts and a home for homeless street people.
