Battle of Pabaiskas

Battle of Pabaiskas (also known as the Battle of Vilkomir) took place on September 1, 1435 near Ukmergė. The forces of Grand Duke of Lithuania Sigismund Kestutaitis with the help of Polish military units defeated Švitrigaila, and his Livonian Order allies. The battle ended Civil war in the Grand Duchy of Lithuania ^{[citation needed]} and reduced the power of the Livonian Order, which didn't attempt any military actions against Lithuania after this battle.

Pabaiskas was later established near the place of the battle.
