The Battle of Elchingen was fought on October 14, 1805, between French forces and a small Austrian force. The French were led by Marshal Michel Ney and were victorious.

The small Austrian force reunited with the main Austrian army in Ulm and was surrounded by the French forces on October 20 in the Battle of Ulm.
