Battle of Dover

Several naval engagements that occurred somewhere in the vicinity of Dover, England, are known as the Battle of Dover:
- The Battle of Dover, 24 August 1217, in the First Barons' War.
- The Battle of Goodwin Sands, 29 May 1652, in the First Anglo-Dutch War.
- The Battle of the Kentish Knock, 8 October 1652, in the First Anglo-Dutch War.
- The Four Days Battle, 11 June – 14 June 1666, in the Second Anglo-Dutch War.
- The Battle of Dover Strait, 21 April 1917, in World War I.
The name may also refer to the Battle of Dover fought near Dover, Tennessee on February 3, 1863 in the American Civil War.
