The Battle of Arras, fought on August 25, 1654, was a victory of the French army under Turenne against the Spanish army under Don Fernidand de Salis and Condé.
Cyrano de Bergerac, who is the subject of the classic French play Cyrano de Bergerac by Edmond Rostand, participated in the 1640 Siege of Arras, not the 1654 Battle of Arras.
